Summer Reading Program

Thank you to everyone who participated in Summer Reading Program. We had an amazingly successful year and reached over 133 children in our community. Thank you to all of our donors who made so much of this possible and to all of our volunteers, whom made this experience so amazing for our kids.  See the video below for all the fun our kids had for the 2019 program!

Below are a few of the Summer Reading Program drawing prizes that kids can earn a raffle ticket for. But wait, there's more! For every hour your child reads beginning June 20th, he or she will earn one “book buck” to spend in Bookie (the book worm’s) store. Bookie’s Store will open on Thursday July 11th at 11 am.  See you soon. Oh! And don’t forget! This Thursday, June 20th is our kick off field day at the Roslyn Yard at 11 am! Come get your kiddos registered! This is going to be a really fun year!

Every summer the Roslyn Library sponsors the Summer Reading Program which aims to keep kids of all ages reading throughout the summer. The program offers incentive prizes for time spent reading, a raffle for completing reading golals, and features weeksly story time, activities and events.
