Renovation Project

The Friends of the Roslyn Library are proud to announce that, after many years, the library's permanent home is now complete. A portion of time was spend in the temporary location and the project was recently finished with the renovation of all the windows. The library was required to meet historical guidelines and the entire process took six years to complete. Roslyn librarian, Claudia Guilford, commented "we are happy to finally be home".

This endeavor was initiated by Friends of the Roslyn Library board members Lynn Louise, Tuesday Bosch and city councilwoman, Janine Brodine. The process for the library renovation began in 2018. Funding was applied for and obtained throught the State Capital  Project Allocation. Construction began in January 2022 and the library reopened in September of 2022.
